Comfortable stay with fantastic food

I recently enjoyed a lovely stay in a Superior King Room, where the bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the ample supply of coffee and tea. The highlight was definitely the evening meals. the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional, making us feel right at home. One improvement could be offering breakfast options, as I had to bring my own.

We found this gem while traveling and were blown away! The room was updated and spotless. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had! They even kept the kitchen open late for us, which was a pleasant surprise.

They went out of their way to keep the kitchen open late for us, which was a nice touch after a long drive. the doors in the hallway banged noisily and disturbed my sleep at night. There was also a gap under the door that let in light, making it hard to fully relax. The pillows definitely needed replacing. they felt quite flat. a nice stay but could improve on noise control and pillow quality.

The room was comfortable, but the shower head was broken during my stay.

The Royal Oak offers a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The food is tasty, especially the beef chili. however, the lack of vegetarian options and slight over-seasoning were noticeable drawbacks. Still, the dining experience overall was quite enjoyable.
